St. Louis County Celebrates 150th Anniversary
By Rolling Out History Train!
As part of St. Louis County’s Sesquicentennial year, the “History Train” will continue its tour of the County in Virginia July 3 to the 7 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In addition, a reception will be held on July 3 at 5:00 PM behind the Sawmill Saloon and Restaurant in Virginia, where officials and the public will be presented with special commemorative items. This event is free and open to the public.
The “History Train” will be bringing history directly to communities this summer in a fully renovated rail car, carrying a new exhibit about St. Louis County’s rich history.
