Sheriff's Office to Host Traffic Injury Press Conference

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office will hold a press conference Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Lucky Seven General Store, 1002 3rd Avenue NW, Chisholm, MN.   

This press conference will detail statistics relating to area traffic injuries and deaths. Also, planned enforcement for the Minnesota Fishing Opener and Memorial Day Holiday by Safe and Sober grant participants will be explained. Mock Mothers Days Cards and Fishing Licenses will be on display to represent residents from St. Louis and Itasca ounties who were killed in automobile accidents last year.

All press, media, and the general public is welcome to attend.

Assisting agencies include Mesabi Safe Communities Coalition, Chisholm Police, Eveleth Police, Virginia Police, Hibbing Police, Ely Police, Gilbert Police, Breitung Township Police, and Minnesota State Patrol.
