The St. Louis County Medical Examiner's Office is aware of deaths related to the H1N1 virus in Minnesota.
As of December 2, 2009 the St. Louis County Medical Examiner's Office has had one (1) confirmed medical examiner case in St. Louis County where the H1N1 virus was found to be the cause of death.
A death that occurred on November 11, 2009 has been confirmed as a death related to H1N1 on December 2, 2009.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the administration of the St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s function.
Dr. Thomas Uncini of Lakeland Pathology, P.A. is the current Chief Medical Examiner and has been since 1998. He is a Board Certified Pathologist.
