How can I get my fingerprints taken?

Often times in completing a background clearance on a person for employment or adoption purposes, fingerprints are required on the applicant.  Fingerprinting can be completed at the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office nearest you for a fee of $16.00 (payable by cash or check but cash is preferred).  You must bring a photo ID with you.

In the Duluth Sheriff's Office, fingerprints are done on Tuesdays or Thursdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. by appointment.  Appointments are 15 minutes.  Contact 726-2008 to schedule an appointment at the Duluth Sheriff's Office.
