| Emergency Communications Specialist Jan Makowski - Friday, January 26, 2007 - Monday, June 23, 2008 St. Louis County Emergency Communications Specialist Jan Makowski received the Emergency Associate Award at the annual Arrowhead EMS Conference held January 19-21 at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center. Jan Makowski was nominated by a group of public safety officials for her decades of dedicated service at the Virginia Communications Center and for her service to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Rescue Squad. The award was presented by Arrowhead EMS Executive Director Karla McKenzie and Arrowhead EMS Board President Mike Peterson. Congratulations to Jan for the years of service.
