The St. Louis County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications System User Board consists of eighteen (18) members. The membership is intended to provide board representation of all major public safety agencies and types of public safety agencies using the St. Louis County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications System. Employees of the St. Louis County Communications Department do not serve as members of the User Board.
The User Board assists the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners and the Director of 9-1-1 Communications in coordination of the operation of the St. Louis County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications System as it relates to providing services to the public and to public safety user agencies.
Members on the User Board represent the following agencies:
* St. Louis County Board of Commissioners
* St. Louis County Sheriff
* Urban Police Departments (Hermantown, Proctor, UMD, Rice Lake, Floodwood)
* City of Duluth Police Department
* City of Duluth Fire Department
* Fire Departments (Lakehead Fire Association Board)
* Emergency Medical Services Providers (Arrowhead Emergency Medical Services Board)
* Police Departments (Iron Range Police Chiefs Association)
* Urban Fire Departments (Hibbing, Eveleth, Virginia Fire Departments)
* Volunteer Fire Departments (Iron Range Fire Coalitions)
* Volunteer Fire Departments (Arrowhead Regional Firefighters Association)
* Emergency Medical Service Providers (Arrowhead EMS Association)
