The mission of the St. Louis County Motor Pool is to provide safe and reliable transportation for employees to perform their assigned duties.
The Motor Pool operates two garages, one located at 401 W. 2nd Street in Duluth, and the other located at 7823 Hwy 135 in Virginia. Together they maintain approximately 125 vehicles which include sedans, pickups, vans, and sport utility vehicles. The Motor Pool staff provide maintenance and repair of numerous vehicles owned by the Motor Pool as well as many other departments. In addition, the Motor Pool technicians retrofit vehicles for the Sheriffs department use.
