The Land Survey Division's mission is to locate and perpetuate the Public Land Survey corner markers in the county which includes maintaining survey records relative to the survey work. It also provides land surveying services to the Public Works Department for road and bridge maintenance and construction projects; assists with parcel mapping projects; and reviews and approves land subdivision plats prior to recording.
