What's New

2009 4-H City Safari Day Camp    Find wilderness adventure in your community's own backyard!  During this 4-day-long day camp kids can discover forests and wildlife, explore Duluth parks, learn camping skills, and plan an adventurous day hike to see new natural areas.  Camp participants will be doing fun activities and crafts, playing games, and learning about plants and wildlife, while spending time outdoors and making new friends. The day camp is for youth who have completed 4th grade, up through 8th grade.  There is a $10 registration fee, which includes four days of camp (9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday), daily snacks and a t-shirt.  Participants must supply their own bag lunch.  For more information on how to apply, contact Idelle Erickson at 733-2872 or eric1098@d.umn.edu . Fruit Varieties for Northern Minnesota is $3.00, and Vegetable Varieties for Northern Minnesota is $4.00. The vegetable list has now been updated for 2009.
