You may also download an absentee ballot application from the Secretary of State’s Website
In lieu of an absentee ballot application, a voter may submit to the County Auditor or designated clerk a letter which includes the following: (1) the voter’s name and address in the precinct; (2) the reason for requesting an absentee ballot - absence, physical disability etc.; (3) the address where the ballots should be mailed; (4) the voters signature.
Applications must be returned to the County Auditor at one of the above addresses or to your local city or town clerk, if applicable. FAXED applications are acceptable as long as your signature is included on the application.
E-mailed applications that have been scanned with a signature are also acceptable.
If the election involves ONLY a city, township or school district, you must submit ballot applications to the appropriate city, township or school district clerk. Please contact the County Auditor’s Office if you need assistance or further information.
