2010 Proposed Budget
On Tuesday, September 15, 2009, the St. Louis County Board certified a maximum levy and preliminary 2010-2011 budget. The Proposed 2010 St. Louis County Operating and Capital budget totals $325,093,778, which will allow the county to carry out high quality yet efficient services to citizens in the areas of planning and zoning, land management, environmental services, public works, public health, human services, criminal justice, economic development and general government services. The proposed county property tax levy for 2010 is $107,428,991 in property tax dollars for these services.
This represents a 1.3% increase over the 2009 property tax levy, and is comprised of a 0.837% general levy as certified by the State and special levies.
