North School Development
The Environmental Assessment Worksheet provides information about a project that may have the potential for significant environmental effects. The EAW is prepared to determine whether an Environmental Impact Statement should be prepared. Note to Reviewers: Comments must be submitted to St. Louis County, the Responsible Government Unit (RGU), during the 30-day comment period. Comments should address the accuracy and completeness of information, potential impacts that warrant further investigation and the need for an EIS.
Shoreland and Wetland Guides
The "Shoreland and Wetland Guides" were developed by the Planning and Development Department under a grant from the Minnesota Lake Superior Coastal Program (LSCP). The purpose of the guides is to provide information to property owners on shoreland development and types of wetlands. St. Louis County Union Depot
Site Plan + Master Plan
St. Louis County recently completed a site plan and master plan for the St. Louis County Union Depot (also known as the Duluth Depot). The site plans outlines redevelopment opportunities at the Depot in anticipation of new passenger rail service to Minneapolis. The master plan outlines new development opporunities in the surrounding blocks. Both components are accompanied by an economic analysis that examines the market potential for new development.
