ABSENTEE VOTER APPLICATION INFORMATION
If you are a resident of St. Louis County and want to vote by absentee ballot at any Federal, State or County election you must submit an application to the County Auditor or a full time city or town clerk who has been designated a deputy registrar by the County Auditor.Information and absentee ballot applications can be obtained from the following sources:

You may also download an absentee ballot application from the Secretary of State’s Website:In lieu of an absentee ballot application, a voter may submit to the County Auditor or designated clerk a letter which includes the following: (1) the voter’s name and address in the precinct; (2) the reason for requesting an absentee ballot - absence, physical disability etc.; (3) the address where the ballots should be mailed; (4) the voters signature. Applications must be returned to the County Auditor at the above listed address. Faxed absentee ballot applications are acceptable. [Please Note: Absentee ballot applications CANNOT be completed by telephone or email because a voter signature is required]If the election involves ONLY a city, township or school district, you must submit ballot applications to the appropriate city, township or school district clerk.
