Welcome to
St. Louis County
’s Online Performance Data Gallery!
The mission of St. Louis County Administration is to ensure the policy direction
set by the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners is implemented in an as effective
and efficient manner as possible.
Performance measurement and
management are important tools to achieve this objective, enhancing accountability, transparency
and efficiency.
Our desire is to communicate the results our programs
and projects achieve to you in a meaningful manner.
Last year, in conjunction with our 150th anniversary, St. Louis County published its first performance management report, the Sesquicentennial Evaluation Report Card. Going forward, we have chosen an Internet-based method to help link citizens to additional information, contacts, graphs and to allow for frequent and regular updates.
The creation of the Online Performance Data Gallery was supported with a grant from the National Center for Civic Innovation’s Government Performance Reporting Trailblazer Grant Program. St. Louis County was one of 19 governments nationwide to receive this grant. Through this grant, we were able to conduct a series of focus groups this past summer about our performance management and communication effort as well as work with other governments in the region on this topic.
This site is designed to provide you with a gallery display of information: you will find multiple levels of reporting and a link of where to go for more information. We hope you find it of value, and ask that you contact us if you have any questions.

Commissioners’ Priorities
During 2007, the St. Louis County
Commissioners worked with
County Administration and Department Heads to document their key priorities for
St. Louis County. The priorities stem from an analysis of the role of
St. Louis County government and the greatest current and future needs of the county.
The Commissioners’ Priority Areas
have provided a vision to Departments as they developed their Business Plans. (link
