The Court Administrator provides staff support for a full range of court operations in the cities of Duluth, Hibbing, and Virginia. The department is responsible for processing and management of all records and files of the District Court as well as providing service and management of court activity in Civil, Conciliation (small claims), Criminal, Family, Juvenile, and Probate matters. The Court Administrator provides jurors for trials in Civil and Criminal matters and staff support for all daily court operations. Other services include marriage license applications, operation of a Traffic Violations Bureau and (Duluth only) birth and death records. Passport applications are accepted in the Hibbing and Virginia offices. |
