St. Louis County to Demonstrate Capital

Equipment Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 3, 2004, the St. Louis County Board will consider issuing Capital Equipment Notes for public safety, road construction and maintenance, and medical equipment. Issuing of Capital Equipment Notes was part of the County Board’s 2004-05 budget. To educate the public as to the outcome of these important funds, St. Louis County will demonstrate the Chris Jensen Back Injury Reduction project at 9:00 in the St. Louis County Boardroom, 2nd Floor, Duluth Courthouse on Tuesday, August 3, 2004. Following the brief presentation, Sheriff’s vehicles and Public Works heavy equipment will be available for touring behind the Courthouse, off 1st Floor and 2nd Street.

At 9:30 AM, the St. Louis County Board will begin their regular weekly Board Meeting, with discussion of the Capital Equipment Notes as part of their agenda.
